WASHINGTON - Pekin failed to score for a fourth consecutive straight game Tuesday in a 6-0 Mid-Illini Conference girls' soccer loss to host Washington.Washington started its scoring onslaught early in the first half when midfielder Lauren Dinkheller lofted a shot in the goal 1:13 into the game.
“That pretty much set the tone for us for the game,” said Pekin coach Edgar Sandoval. “Our effort was very disappointing.”Junior Carrie Bunting scored three goals in the game for the Panthers.
